Burkina Faso is the 4th biggest gold producer in Africa. Gold Mining plays a significant role in Burkina Faso’s economy. Production of mineral commodities is limited to cement, dolomite, gold, granite, marble, phosphate rock, pumice, other volcanic materials, and salt.
Toya Gold currently has two active assets in Burkina Faso Dioga & Dioga South with a total area of 500 km² where Soil geochemistry surveys and geophysics works are continuing.
